Mark Gatiss Returning for Season 5

Mark Gatiss Returning for Season 5

Last week Entertainment Weekly announced that Mark Gatiss (Tycho Nestoris) would be returning for season 5 of Game of Thrones.  Tycho Nestoris was the Iron Banker who met with Stannis and Davos - and in doing so backed Stannis Baratheon.

Because Gatiss has such a busy year - also filming for Doctor Who and Sherlock - I wonder if his screen time in season 5 will be equal to that of season 4.  In season 4 he appeared for only one episode, and in that episode "The Laws of Gods and Men" only appeared on screen for a few minutes.  Regardless of how much screen time Gatiss will get I'm looking forward to seeing the show give more time to the Iron Bank.

Spoilers ahead if you have not read through A Feast for Crows.

Mark Gatiss Cast for Season 4

Mark Gatiss who has played Mycroft Holmes in BBC’s hit show Sherlcok has just been casted for Season 4 of Game of Thrones.  But as far as who he will be playing for Season 4, well that’s mystery still.

We may get a confirmation on his role at this years Comic-Con, on Friday at the Game of Thrones panel.  But nothing is for certain.

So where does that leave us on his role.  Well there’s some speculation that he may be playing Mace Tyrell or even the Magnar of Thenn.  I don’t see him as either one of those characters, simply in his physical appearance alone.

Spoilers ahead.  Only continue reading if you have read through A Feast for Crows.
