HBO Now Officially Live

We were promised the HBO Now would launch before the season premiere of Game of Thrones, and it appears they've kept their promise.  HBO's standalone service, HBO Now, has just launched on all Apple devices (iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch, and Apple TV).  HBO Now offers you the ability to watch the entirety of HBO's library of shows, movies, and other special programs for a monthly fee of $14.99.  And if you sign up in the month of April you get a  30-day introductory free trial.

The Apple Keynote brought us a lot of big news today.  Firstly, we officially have confirmation of HBO Now becoming available to us in April, just in time for the fifth season of Game of Thrones.  And along with this, Apple presented us with the second Game of Thrones trailer.  

First lets get the details out of the way for HBO Now.  The standalone streaming service that HBO has been talking about for quite some time has finally gotten its month of release announced.  Because of the partnership between HBO and Apple we can expect HBO Now to be available later in April, before the premiere of season five of Game of Thrones.  And all for the reasonably cheap price of $14.99 a month.  For more details on HBO Now, the full press release can be found at the bottom of this article.
