Game of Thrones Season 6 Battle Banner Teasers

HBO has just released three new promo videos for the upcoming sixth season of Game of Thrones.  Each teaser focuses on three houses from the series: House Stark, House Lannister, and House Targaryen.  Although the three clips do not show any new footage, they all feature a never before heard voiceover, each unique for the different house.

Check them out below

The first is House Stark, which features Iwan Rheon as Ramsay Bolton, declaring Winterfell to be his.

The second is House Lannister, featuring Jonathan Pryce as The High Sparrow - with Septa Unella in the background chanting "Shame".

Finally we have House Targaryen, where a Dothraki threatens and mocks Daenerys and her titles.  It is unclear at the moment who it is speaking, but it may be Joe Naufahu as Khal Jhaqo.

More Game of Thrones Season 6 Casting News

We have more casting news for the sixth season of Game of Thrones.  This time around we have two official announced castings coming from Deadline.  So without further ado lets get into it!

The first actor is the New Zealand-born actor Joe Naufahu.  Not much information has been given about his character, except for this little piece of information from Deadline stating that Naufahu has "booked a multi-episode arc".

Joe Naufahu has appeared in series such as Spartacus: War of the Damned and Go Girls.

Although there isn't much information about Naufahu's character, we can still speculate as to who he might be playing.  One possibility is that he will be taking on the role of Khal Jhago.  For book readers this is a well known character.  And where last season left off, Jhaqo would definitely fir the description of having a "multi-episode arc".

The second actor is recent Juliard grad Robert Aramayo.  HBO is keeping details about the character under wraps at the moment.

Aramayo will also be appearing in HBO's mini-series Lewis and Clark, and in the upcoming film The Tourist.

So who do you think Naufahu and Aramayo will be playing in the sixth season of Game of Thrones?  Leave your thoughts on these two pieces of casting news in the comments below!
